Applications and Interpretation at Standard Level is often chosen as the “easiest” maths option, but can quickly get you in trouble if you don’t pay attention. There is a lot to learn here, and the topics are most likely very different from the type of maths you have seen before.
Statistics and probability

Did you know that there are two types of chi-squared test, and that they work in very different ways? And then you have the t-test on top of that — very easy to get confused.

Financial mathematics
Very many students feel like they should understand this, but get tripped up when they have to use the calculator. I will help you with your specific calculator to figure out how it works.
Geometry and trigonometry
Voronoi diagrams
A strange name, and something even many teachers are not too familiar with. Wrapping your head around these before the exam can gain you many marks, and it’s not as bad as it seems.

The hardest part is often just realising when you have to use this distribution, because the question will usually not tell you. Once you learn to look for the signs, it gets easier.
