Terms and Conditions

1. Company Information & Scope

Lindahl Tutoring is a tutoring service operated from Norway. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Norwegian law.

Lindahl Tutoring provides one-to-one online tutoring lessons delivered remotely.

By booking a lesson or purchasing a lesson package, the student (or their legal guardian, where applicable) agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed and charged in euros (€).

• Standard price per lesson: €99

• Package offers:

  • 10 lessons: 10% discount

  • 25 lessons: 25% discount

• Trial lesson: €49

The trial lesson may only be booked once per student, and only by students who have not previously booked lessons with Lindahl Tutoring.

Payment is taken at the time of booking a lesson or purchasing a lesson package.
All standard online payment methods are accepted.

A confirmed payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and confirmation of the booking.

3. Booking & Scheduling

Lessons are booked through the integrated booking calendar on the Lindahl Tutoring website, at the same time as payment.

The booking system automatically adjusts for time zones. Students will be shown available lesson times in their own local time zone.

It is the student’s responsibility to attend the lesson on time and to ensure access to a stable internet connection and suitable equipment.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Lessons may be cancelled with a full refund if cancellation occurs at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.

Lessons cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice, including no-shows, are payable in full and no refund will be provided.

Exceptions may be made in cases of unforeseen illness or emergency, provided appropriate evidence is supplied (for example, a doctor’s note). Lindahl Tutoring retains full discretion in determining whether such evidence is acceptable.

If a lesson must be cancelled by Lindahl Tutoring, the student will be offered either a rescheduled lesson or a full refund of the lesson affected, in addition to an extra lesson provided free of charge.

5. Refund Policy

• Trial lessons:
  A full refund may be provided if the student is not satisfied, regardless of reason.

• All other lessons:
  Refunds are only provided in accordance with the cancellation rules set out in Section 4.

For lesson packages, any applicable refund will take the form of the lesson not being deducted from the package.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (bank account or debit/credit card).
Most refunds are processed within 1–2 days, and all refunds within 14 days of cancellation.

6. Lesson Packages

Lessons purchased as part of a package do not expire.

Package lessons may be transferred to another student if desired, by providing the other student with the unique discount code associated with the package. Lindahl Tutoring should be provided with written notice that the lessons have been transferred to another student.

Lessons may be freely split between subjects and topics as desired.

7. Tutor Obligations

Lindahl Tutoring undertakes to provide tutoring services in good faith and with reasonable professional care.

No guarantee is given regarding academic results, grades, exam performance, or specific outcomes.

Lindahl Tutoring reserves the right to refuse or terminate services in cases of inappropriate behavior, abuse, or misuse of the service.

8. Student Obligations

Students are expected to:

• Behave respectfully and appropriately during lessons

• Attend lessons on time

• Ensure suitable technical conditions for online lessons

• Comply with academic integrity standards (including not using tutoring during live exams or assessments where prohibited)

Failure to meet these obligations may result in termination of services without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

Slides and materials created during lessons will be sent to the student after each lesson.

All materials are provided for personal use only. Redistribution, resale, or sharing with third parties is not permitted without prior written consent from Lindahl Tutoring.

10. Recording of Lessons

Lessons may only be recorded if explicit permission is given by both the student and the tutor in advance.

Unauthorized recording of lessons is not permitted.

11. Limitation of Liability

Tutoring services are provided “as is”.

Lindahl Tutoring shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of academic opportunity or results.

Any liability shall be limited to the total amount paid by the student for the relevant lesson or lesson package.

12. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

13. Amendments to Terms

Lindahl Tutoring reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions.

The version in force at the time of booking shall apply to that booking or purchase.
